The Gamla Cabernet is produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes mostly harvested from vineyards in the cool Golan Heights, with a bit of fruit coming from one vineyard in the Upper Galilee. The wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. While ready to drink now, the Gamla Cabernet will age nicely in the bottle for some six to eight years from vintage.
