The wine is produced from Shiraz grapes which are grown on Terra Rossa soil in Kibbutz Malkia in the Upper Galilee. The wine maintains a deep purple colour characteristic of the Shiraz and combines raspberry, mulberry, and violet flavours. The barrels give the wine hints of cedar and oak, for a balanced and velvet full body leading to a long and pleasant finish. For the final product, about 10% Cabernet Sauvignon is added from the vineyard to enrich the wine. The wine is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle to add a complex and refined taste.
