White and Rose wines in this series are cold fermented without oak to preserve their freshness and fruit characters, while the reds are fermented at moderate temperatures in rotary fermentors to combine maximum color and body with the fruit characters that derive from the varieties.
Classic Emerald Riesling Colombard – 12% alc. – 750 ml – Mevushal
This wine is the product of two very different grape varieties: Emerald Riesling and Colombard. The combination of the floral aroma of the Riesling with the crisp structure of the Colombard makes a winning combination.
Classic Sauvignon Blanc – 12.5 % alc. – 750 ml – Mevushal
Grapes from the Galilee are blended with those from Tel Safit to create this elegant wine with its complex "rainbow" of aromas from fresh mown grass to cranberry and mango. Although of a light body, the intense herb and tropical fruit flavour and crisp tart, long finish is refreshingly delightful.
Classic Merlot – 13 % alc. – 750 ml – Mevushal
Grapes from the Galil and Golan yield a wine of deep ruby colour with an aroma of cherries, raspberry, and fresh ground pepper. The wine is full bodied with rounded
Tannin, ripe fruit and vanilla flavours and a long finish.
Classic Cabernet Sauvignon – 13.5 % alc. – 750 ml – Mevushal
The grapes of this most "classic" of red varieties were grown in vineyards in the Galilee and Golan. Its aroma of wild berries and cherries blends with its tobacco, vanilla barrel bouquet. The wine has fine structured, yet rounded tannins, a long rich finish and aging potential.
Classic Chardonnay – 12.5 % alc. – 750 ml – Mevushal
The Tel Safit Vineyard is the source of this complex wine. Its aroma is a blend of varied tones from citrus, peach to pineapple, while still strikingly varietal. The wine has a medium body, crisp finish with lingering taste of tropical fruit.
Classic Shiraz-Rose – 13 % alc. – 750 ml – Mevushal
This wine with 15% Temprinillo comes from the Vineyard at Hulda. After a short maceration with the skins, the lightly "stained" juice was drawn off and fermented cold over three weeks. Its pink color and aroma of cherry, plums and honey go well with its dry crisp finish.
